The National Alliance on Mental Illness
(NAMI) Peer-to-Peer Education Course
is a Free 10 week class for mental
health consumers. Class meets once
per week for 2 hours from 1pm- 3pm.
Classes are taught by trained peer
mentors and occur in a relaxed
confidential setting. Classes will include
sessions on coping skills, signs of
possible relapse, and learning to be an
active participant in your treatment.
You will be given a $15 stipend per
class to help with transportation. Space
is limited and you must come to each
class and participate.
