We work to spread knowledge on mental health and help enhance the lives of all persons receiving public human and social services.
The first step is to break the silence on Mental Health, the second step is to break the stigma.
To enhance and enrich the quality of life for all persons who receive public behavioral health and developmental disability services in Southeast Louisiana.
- Educate people about mental illnesses.
- Help support indivduals and families with human service needs.
Our Current Focus …
The Extra Mile of Southeast Louisiana (TEMSE) is currently focused on needs of children and youth who are entering the foster care system. TEMSE supports children, foster families and biological families through facilitating the donation of goods and services.
